In 2012 Miller Well Servicing contributed $25,000 to help fund the Weyburn Triple C Centre (Community, Culture and Convention Centre) built at the Weyburn Comprehensive School which is now named Cugnet Centre.
When the price of oil dropped and our local economy was struggling the food bank stepped in to help those families who were victims of this crash. There is no reason anyone should go without food and so Shannon & Abby headed off to the Co-op to fill a bunch of carts!
The Family Place is a community funded charitable organization existing to improve the quality of life for children and families in Weyburn and the surrounding area.
They believe learning and growing with your children is important and that strong families build strong communities.
We proudly donate a tree every year to their Festival of Trees Fundraiser. Most recent we created a movie theatre themed tree along with a $1000.00 donation to the Weyburn Theatre.
We also purchase a tree every year for display at our office. We love seeing all the support that goes into this fundraiser showing the team work of our community.
Travis Anderson Memorial Playground, a project funded and built by employees, local oil industry and friends. A labour of love, Built to honour the life of our friend & employee and to leave a lasting legacy.
Miller Well is proud to contribute to a variety of causes, from small fundraisers to large scale community infrastructure projects over he past years. A few include: sponsorship to Weyburn Ag Society Rodeo for Chute Partner, Souris River Rodeo, and Weyburn Movie Theatre.
Various Community Silent Auctions such as the Young Fellow Club, Griffin Rec Center, Dr. Brown Oungre Park, 2022 High School Grads. We are happy to support these Annual Auctions.
Recreation sports teams supported by the high school or youth club teams- volleyball, swimming etc . Sponsorship of jerseys to a U11 Hockey Weyburn team. We can’t forget the adults' trying to have fun by supporting rec teams for all sports- curling, rec hockey, archery.
We are happy to support Royal Canadian Legion Wreath Sponsor Annually.
Miller Well is proud to show off our employees by attending local career fairs and supporting local events hosted by our Chamber of Commerce, volunteering at local events such as the Oil Show.
We also want to show our support for local business by supporting them- catering meals, hosting gatherings.
Christmas of 2022 we found out that the Weyburn Hospital Christmas decorations were tossed out or went missing during COVID and had nothing for their waiting room. As soon as we heard this we went and dropped off a Christmas tree along with décor for the tree and a few other decorations for the waiting room.
